Combat Circuit is unlike any other fitness facility in the Bay Area. Located inside the American Kickboxing Academy in South San Jose, Combat Circuit integrates martial arts training with cardio intervals to get you in shape in less time than any other workout program.
We use a 30 minute interval format, similar to Curves for Women, and combine it with Mixed Martial Arts training techniques. The MMA exercises are designed to help you build core strength and endurance like a Crossfit workout, but while learning wrestling, kickboxing, and jiu jitsu techniques at the same time.
The workout was designed by professional fighters, and adapted to be a great workout for beginners in addition to the pros. At Combat Circuit, it’s easy to push yourself, but you perform at your own pace, so you’ll never feel overwhelmed or outmatched. Since you never have to work with a training partner, our workouts are safe and can accommodate any skill level.
The gym includes four pieces of equipment: cardio machines, medicine balls, heavy bags, and grappling dummies. Our simple training equipment is easy to use and promotes functional strength and balance. Participants ride cardio machines, slam medicine balls, and practice MMA fighting techniques 90-seconds at a time. Combat Circuit is perfect for those looking to get in great shape and learn self defense at the same time.
